About the Job
As one of the leading florist wholesalers in Rocklea, we are looking for a casual retail sales assistant to join our team. We are looking for reliable, hard-working, and responsible individuals who have a strong work ethic. The ability to work under supervision as well as being a self-starter is essential in an extremely fast-paced environment.
We are looking for candidates who possess the following skills and attributes:
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to place customer service as a first priority.
- Neat and professional presentation.
- Emphasis on efficiency and punctuation.
- Resilient mindset showing initiative to perform to a high standard.
- Excellent competency to conduct tasks in a professional manner.
- Enjoy working in a dynamic and past-faced environment.
- Be enthusiastic and willing to take on any task necessary.
- Experience with MS Office and LIGHTSPEED POS is highly preferable.
- Photographing and photo editing skills preferred.
Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Servicing customers at the front counter.
- Answering phone calls and inquiries.
- Receiving orders and deliveries.
- Wrapping of mixed and single floral bunches.
- Labeling of each product.
- Unpacking of boxes.
- Knowledge of cut flower type, flower care, and flower quality.
